Just when you thought you had seen all the shapes antennas come in.
This is a real neat concept. I wonder if someone can adapt it for amateur radio use.

Hmmmm, interesting . . .
Using the inside surface as the reflective surface of the antenna, very clever. I guess that, while the outer surface seems spherical, the inside surface is not, since parabolic surfaces give you a much higher gain. The construction must be of the "double-wall" type; that would also take care of the deformation on the lower side of the reflective surface due to the weight of the whole thing.
